Dr Ir Danis Hidayat Sumadilaga is a person of outstanding eminence in the road industry in Indonesia. He was a member of Supervisory Board and Chief of the division in the Indonesian Road Development Association (IRDA), President of the Indonesian Engineer Association (PII) and a member of Dewan Riset Nasional. He was the Head of the Research and Development Agency of the Ministry of Public Works from 2016 until 2018.
He was a Project Officer for the Pasupati Viaduct project. the first overpass in Indonesia to utilize earthquake-proof technology. Currently, Dr Sumadilaga is actively involved in preparing the infrastructure and facilities for the next new state capital in East Kalimantan. Dr Ir. Danis Hidayat Sumadilaga has been a Coopted member of the REAAA Governing Council since 2005.
