The 122nd REAAA Council meeting was held at BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand. The meeting was attended by Council members from Australia, Indonesia, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand as the host. The meeting was also attended by the Secretary General, Mr. Patrick Mallejacq from PIARC, and the Chairman of the National Committee, Mr. Kamaliev B.S from Kazakhstan.
The meeting agreed on the following proposals:
- Approval of the financial budget proposal for 2025.
- The 123rd REAAA Council meeting will be held in Melbourne from the 5th to the 6th at NTRO, Melbourne, Australia.
- The Council meeting unanimously agreed on the candidates for President, Honorary Secretary-General, and Honorary Treasurer-General for the 2025-2029 term.
- The Hwang Award Committee has extended the deadline for submission of Hwang Award nominations until the end of 2024 to receive more nominations.
- Members are invited to participate in the 17th REAAA Conference in Goyang City, South Korea. Various exciting events will be held, including special Ministerial events, HORA meetings, presentation of awards for the Katahira Award, Mino Best Project Award, Smart Highway Award, and Honorary Award.
The conference will also include a Council meeting, General meeting, and the transition of the presidency for the upcoming term.
Additionally, several important decisions were approved.
