Katahira Award Presentation (2017), Bali

Six technical papers were awarded with Katahira Conference Award at the Closing Ceremony and Gala Dinner of the 15th REAAA Conference on 23rd March 2017 in Bali, Indonesia by the President of Katahira & Engineers Inc.,Mr.Masato Nakamura and the President of Katahira International, Mr.Masami Kimishima.

The Katahira Conference Award Judging Panel has worked closely with the organizers in Indonesia for the selection of the winners.The Committee of Technical Paper for the 15th REAAA Conference has screened eligible papers which were then forwarded through the REAAA Secretariat to the members of Katahira Award Judging Panel chaired by Mr. Kieran Sharp for their evaluation. The panel members are as follows;

5.  Dr. Kian Keong Chin (Singapore) The Chairman of Katahira Fund, Mr. Koji Kuroda and the committee members decided to award the winners with the total prizes amounting US$4,500. The source of fund for Katahira Award prizes amounting US$3,000 was donated from Katahira & Engineers Inc.  and the exceed amount of prizes US$1,500 will be disbursed from the Katahira Fund to REAAA HSBC Account including all bank charges in preparing Telegraphic Transfer to all winners.
