Greetings from the Road Engineering Association of the Philippines (REAP).
During the 113th REAAA Council Meeting held last November 27, 2020, it was agreed upon to re-schedule the 16th REAAA Conference in Manila from June 2021 to September 2021.
In this regard, the 16th REAAA Conference Organizing Committee is pleased to announce the extension of the submission of abstracts to 15th January 2021 due to the many requests received and also to encourage authors below 40 years old to submit papers eligible for the Katahira Awards.
The updated schedule is as follows:

Abstract Submission:15th January 2021
Abstract Notification of Acceptance :31st January 2021
Submission of Paper :31st March 2021
Notification of Paper Acceptance :30th April 2021
Papers shall be submitted in two stages, first Abstract and then as a full paper after the Abstract has been accepted. Paper submitted should be original and have not been published and/or presented elsewhere. Kindly submit your Abstract of not more than 300 words in doc or docx format (double space, A4 size paper) including the speakers profile (see attached template) to:

The Abstract(s) to be submitted should showcase advance technologies/systems in the following areas:
- Infrastructure design and construction
- Geotechnical innovations
- Highway planning
- Transportation, including public transport
- Pavement technology
- Road financing schemes
- Asset management
- Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS)
- Road safety
- Climate change, resilience and emergency management
