The REAAA Governing Council held its 91st Meeting on 11th November 2010 in Singapore.
The meeting has been considered very fruitful as several important decisions have been made and key proposals adopted. They included the nomination for the Coordinators and Officers in charge of the REAAA Strategy Map and Initiatives 2011-2012, the progress of the REAAA Strategy Map and Initiatives 2011-2012, the positive response on the REAAA Essay Contest with the topic ‘Road Safety- Make it Happen’, the preparation for the 10th Head of Road Authorities Meeting, the setting up of the HORA Advisory Panel for Road Safety- Make it Happen and the input for updating the forthcoming events in REAAA member countries. The meeting, chaired by the President, Dato’ Sri Prof. Ir. Dr. Judin Abdul Karim, discussed various issue on the operations of the secretariat and approved various reports tabled by the Finance Committee, Technical Committee, Membership Promotions Committee, International Coordinator Committee, Katahira Fund Committee and the report by the Honorary Secretary on the activities and performance of the REAAA Secretariat. The meeting also saw the presentation of the REAAA Strategy Map and Initiative 2010-2012. The Council members concluded and agreed to the various plan on the REAAA Strategy Map and Initiative 2010-2012 tabled by the Coordinators. The meeting also looked into these important events, key issue and challenges with confidence and determination.
