REAAA President Kim Sung-hwan Delivers Keynote at IRF’s Road Safety & Sustainability Conference in Riyadh

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, November 4, 2024 – REAAA President Kim Sung-hwan delivered the keynote speech at the “Road Safety & Sustainability Conference: Innovating for Tomorrow,” hosted by the International Road Federation(IRF). The event gathered global leaders and experts to discuss road safety and sustainability challenges.

In his address, President Kim emphasized the critical intersection of Automated Mobility and Road Safety, underscoring the need for innovative solutions and collaboration among stakeholders. He highlighted the importance of strengthening ties between REAAA, IRF, and national agencies to address these pressing issues.

Strengthening Partnerships and Promoting REAAA’s Mission

During the conference, President Kim also held key meetings with high-ranking officials to further promote REAAA’s initiatives.

The first meeting was with H.E. Devendra Dahal, Minister of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport of Nepal. President Kim introduced REAAA’s work and extended an invitation to next year’s REAAA Conference, receiving positive feedback and strong interest in the association’s activities.

Additionally, President Kim met with Eng. Badr Abdullah Al-Dulami, Vice Minister at the Ministry of Transport (MOT). The discussion focused on raising awareness of REAAA’s efforts, encouraging broader participation, and fostering collaboration in the transportation sector.
